What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "After skiing gates in these, the protection stands out immediately. The Gripen GS glove gives me a locked-in pole grip thanks to the outseams and pre-shaped fingers, while the d30 padding really takes the sting out of hard hits. It feels race-specific without feeling bulky, and the goatskin palm holds up after long training days." When speed, precision, and protection matter most, the Hestra Gripen GS Glove is the one we trust for hard-charging days between the gates. Built specifically for giant slalom, this glove keeps our hands secure and confident as we drive turns, absorb impacts, and stay focused on the next panel instead of our fingers.Developed alongside elite alpine race teams, the Gripen GS Glove blends race-tuned dexterity with serious protection. Pre-shaped fingers and external seams deliver exceptional pole feel, while layered shock absorption—including d30 and dense foam—helps cushion blows from gates and ruts. Durable goatskin blocks wind and moisture, ceramic reinforcements add long-term toughness, and Primaloft Gold insulation keeps warmth consistent without sacrificing sensitivity. A snug neoprene cuff seals everything in so we can ski aggressively, lap after lap.
