What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I like the Rider 2.0 for little ones because it brings the same solid features as adult jackets—PrimaLoft insulation, a powder skirt, and durable fabric—all in a light, comfortable package. It’s warm enough for sledding days and mild resort weather, and the elastic cuffs and hem help seal out snow when they take a tumble. A dependable, well-built winter layer."We bundle our toddlers into the Helly Hansen Rider 2.0 Insulated Jacket when winter adventures call, whether it’s a day of sledding or their first few turns on smooth groomers. The durable nylon shell holds up to constant motion and wipeouts, while a DWR finish helps snow slide off instead of soaking in. Inside, PrimaLoft insulation brings dependable warmth that stays effective even when the weather turns damp.Thoughtful features make a big difference for small riders—elastic cuffs and a partially elastic hem help keep warmth in, and the powder skirt blocks snow from sneaking in during spills or excited rollarounds in fresh powder. With cozy coverage and ready-for-anything durability, this jacket supports early mountain days and backyard snow play with equal enthusiasm.
