Its white interior finish is ideal for achieving warm skin tones, creating luscious fashion illustrations, and highlighting sharp details with ease. This classic tool provides the most diffused indirect lighting, creating subtle contrasts and soft shadow definition. The umbrella features a black opaque cover layer that minimizes light loss through its interior white fabric material. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, its resilient fabric and fiberglass frame ribs set the standard for portable light control for people and subjects. This Glow EZ Lock Deep Umbrella is more than just a light modifier it's a parabolic reflector on a grand scale. The parabolic shape is incredibly efficient at feathering light effects. When light is aimed at the umbrella's focal point, it bounces off the entire surface at different angles, but leaves the umbrella as parallel rays. The more the curve of the umbrella conforms to a parabolic sphere, the greater the efficiency of the light power it emits.Compared to Glow soft boxes, which are designed to simulate window light, sky light, and north light, umbrellas are more compact and quicker to set up. There's nothing faster to deploy than a parasol mushroomed. The shape of the catch lights in a portrait subject's eyes and the size of the modifier in relation to the size of the subject are also factors to consider when choosing light modifiers. The Glow EZ Lock 65" Black/White Deep Umbrella comes packaged in a fitted, durable fabric pouch, ensuring its protection during transport and storage. Unlike traditional plastic umbrella casings, this fabric pouch will not harden or crack over time.
