Eight children, 84.4 in across, and 132.1 gallons of sand: this octagonal sandbox is built for a party rather than an afternoon alone. Four 38.8-in bench seats run around the frame so everyone has somewhere to sit and build, and a large polyester canopy with support poles, ropes and ground stakes gives stable, adjustable shade for long sessions. The non-woven bottom liner blocks weeds and unwanted visitors while draining freely after rain. Solid fir with a smooth, weather-resistant water-based finish keeps the surfaces burr-free for small hands. For children 3 to 8.
84.4-in Octagon for Eight: The octagonal shape opens 84.4 in across and hosts up to eight children, which is a different scale of play from a square box.
Four 38.8-in Bench Seats: Benches on four sides give children somewhere to sit and build, and turn the sandbox into a place to gather rather than kneel.
Canopy with Poles, Ropes and Stakes: The large polyester canopy comes with its own supports and ground stakes for stable, adjustable shade through a long afternoon.
Holds 132.1 Gallons of Sand: A generous sand depth supports real digging and tunneling rather than scraping the liner after ten minutes.
Burr-Free Fir with Water-Based Finish: Solid fir with a smooth, weather-resistant water-based finish keeps surfaces splinter-free for bare hands and knees. Ages 3-8
