Descriptions: Visionary eyewear label Gentle Monster was founded in 2011 with the ambitious objective of creating an immaculate pair of frames. With core values rooted in the purity of design, radical experimentation, and cutting-edge technology, the South Korean label leads the vanguard in modern eyewear innovation. The brand’s conceptual seasonal collections explore the intersections of architecture, photography, art, and philosophy, with each pair of women’s sunglasses encompassing the dualities between playfulness and elegance, fragility and destruction, past and future. The elegantly simple lines of the brand’s covetable Didi A and Dreamer models draw upon the allure of vintage silhouettes, while the futuristic Love Punch and Big Bully styles demonstrate a drive for boundary-pushing artistry. Sculptural sunglasses are crafted from an array of unconventional materials, from titanium and acetate to ceramic and monel, while vibrantly tinted lenses add a touch of eccentricity to minimalist styles. Through a series of avant-garde collaborations with luxury labels including Hood By Air and Opening Ceremony, Gentle Monster’s boldly modern vision continues to evolve.
