Cover every weeknight dinner, every holiday side, and every leftover in one purchase with the Emile Henry Set of 2 Rectangular Baking Dishes in - 2 nesting bakers in 2.4 qt, 3.8 qt. Made in Marcigny, France from 100% high-fired Burgundy clay using Emile Henry's HR Ceramic, these are the rectangular dishes that go from freezer to oven to table to dishwasher without ceremony and without cracking.Burgundy clay is unsurpassed for conducting and retaining heat. Rather than blasting the edges the way thin metal pans do, HR Ceramic diffuses heat gently and evenly through the base and sidewalls, so lasagna sets instead of scorching, gratins brown across the whole surface, and roasted vegetables caramelize rather than steam. The glazed interior is naturally non-toxic and naturally non-stick, so cheese and caramelized sugar release with a soak instead of a scrub. Wide, integrated handles give a secure two-hand grip on a heavy, full dish, and the deep glaze is finished to be served from directly - these dishes are meant to sit on the table, not be hidden in the kitchen. The set includes Medium 2.4 qt (12.9" x 8.5" x 2.6"), Large 3.8 qt (15.7" x 10.27" x 2.8") - sized so the medium covers a family lasagna or gratin and the large takes a full sheet of enchiladas, a holiday stuffing, or a 9x13-scale casserole. They nest for storage. Resistant to thermal and mechanical shock, they go directly from the freezer to a hot oven and withstand temperatures from -4F to 500F - oven, broiler, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. The scratch-resistant glaze will not craze or dull with regular dishwasher use. Guaranteed against manufacturing defects under a 10-year warranty for household use. Made in France by Emile Henry, a family ceramics house in Marcigny, Burgundy since 1850.
