What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I’ve used the Mission Pro 18L on countless resort days and short tours. It’s the perfect size—big enough for a shovel, probe, extra layer, and snacks, but not so huge it feels bulky on the lift. The insulated hydration sleeve is clutch on cold days, and the ski carry setup is super secure." For those days when the forecast calls for fresh tracks, the DAKINE Mission Pro 18L Backpack keeps all your essentials organized and ready. Designed with resort laps and short bootpacks in mind, this streamlined pack offers just enough space for avalanche safety gear, extra layers, and your most important accessories. The main compartment includes dedicated sleeves for a shovel and probe, plus room for skins or spare gloves. A fleece-lined pocket protects goggles from scratches, while the insulated hydration sleeve keeps water flowing even when temps drop. Whether you’re carrying skis diagonally or strapping a board on vertically, the Mission Pro stays stable and comfortable thanks to a padded hipbelt and an adjustable sternum strap with an integrated rescue whistle.
