What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Powder Lite II Vest is my go-to for shoulder-season hikes when I want core warmth without restricting my arms. The Omni-Heat Reflective lining punches above its weight in cold conditions, and the Omni-Shield treatment has held up well against light rain and trail grime. It layers perfectly under a hardshell and works just as well thrown over a long-sleeve on milder days."Cool trails and shifting temperatures call for a layer that delivers core warmth without adding bulk to the arms, and the Columbia Powder Lite II Vest is built to fill exactly that role. Versatile enough to work under a shell on cold days or over a long-sleeve on milder ones, this active-fit vest brings together three of Columbia's most trusted performance technologies in a lightweight, packable package that earns its place in any cold-weather kit.Omni-Heat Reflective lining uses silver dots to reflect body heat back toward the core, keeping warmth where it matters most during sustained activity in cold conditions. Thermarator insulation made from 100% recycled polyester adds lightweight loft that retains heat even when damp, and Omni-Shield treatment repels moisture and resists stains at the shell level for clean, fast-drying performance in variable weather. A drawcord-adjustable hem seals out drafts at the waist, zippered hand pockets and an interior security pocket keep essentials organized, and a chin guard prevents zipper chafe on full zip-up.
