What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "These pants feel like true pro-level gear. The 20k/20k waterproofing is bomber in storm conditions, but the stretch fabric keeps them comfortable for hiking and skinning. I especially like the two-way side zips—they vent heat fast and make them easy to get on and off. Add in reinforced cuffs and snow gaiters, and they’re ready for anything." We trust the Columbia Platinum Peak II 3L Pant when the forecast calls for full days in deep snow and demanding conditions. Designed with input from pro snowboarder Curtis Ciszek, these pants are built with a three-layer Omni-Tech shell that delivers 20k/20k waterproof-breathable performance, ensuring total protection whether we’re chasing backcountry powder or hammering resort laps. Fully seam sealed and backed with stretch, the fabric keeps us dry and comfortable without holding us back.Thoughtful features elevate these pants for serious mountain use. Two-way side zips dump excess heat on the skintrack, while articulated knees move with us when we’re scrambling or bending to adjust bindings. Reinforced interior cuff guards defend against ski edge abuse, and integrated leg gaiters with adjustable cuffs keep snow sealed out. With adjustable waist tabs and belt loops, dialing in the perfect fit is easy. The Platinum Peak II pant delivers premium performance for skiers and riders who demand reliability on every mission.
