What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I fished a full week in the Columbia PFG Uncharted II Hoodie and the crossover hood was the detail I kept coming back to, it closed off that gap at the neck that most sun hoodies leave exposed on windy days on the water. The thumbholes kept the sleeves exactly where I wanted them through every cast without any adjusting."A good day of fishing has a way of running longer than planned, and the Columbia PFG Uncharted II Hoodie is built for exactly that kind of commitment. UPF 40 protection works through the fabric construction to block UVA and UVB rays across a full day of open water exposure, while the crossover hood wraps the neck with coverage that standard collars and hoods consistently miss. When the sun angle drops and the exposure shifts, that extra layer of protection at the neck earns its keep.Columbia crafted this hoodie from recycled materials without sacrificing the performance details that matter on the water. Thumbholes lock the cuffs over the backs of the hands for extended coverage during long casts, and Omni-Wick keeps moisture moving off the skin and through the fabric throughout the day. The new PFG active fit skims the body with mobility built in, so nothing bunches or drags through a full casting motion. This is a hoodie that covers every angle and gets out of the way everywhere else.
