What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I always recommend the Lightning Lift IV Printed Jacket for young riders or snow-day warriors. It’s warm without being bulky, and the Outgrown system is a real win for keeping it useful beyond one season. Plus, the waterproof shell and fleece-lined pockets mean fewer cold-weather complaints."Snow days are better when we're not worrying about staying warm or dry, and that's exactly why we trust the Lightning Lift IV Printed Jacket from Columbia. Designed to keep young explorers cozy through flurries and snowball fights, this insulated layer packs in everything they need to enjoy winter to the fullest. The synthetic insulation is light but heat-trapping, and the waterproof fabric keeps moisture out without sacrificing breathability.Columbia’s Outgrown system lets the sleeves extend by 1.5 inches so the jacket keeps up with growth spurts and longer seasons. Add in thoughtful touches like fleece-lined hand pockets, a taffeta-lined hood to reduce hair static, and reflective details for visibility on darker days, and this becomes a cold-weather essential for any snow-loving kid.
