What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore these on a long trail day that turned into a spontaneous patio lunch afterward, and they held up beautifully for both. The stretch waist kept things comfortable through miles of hiking, and the UPF 50 coverage meant I never had to think about sun exposure on the exposed ridgeline sections."The Columbia All Seasons Bootcut II Pant is the kind of piece that disappears into your routine in the best way possible. Columbia designed these with a comfort-stretch fabric blend that moves naturally with your stride, whether you are covering a few miles on a wooded path or running errands around town on a sunny afternoon. The semi-fitted bootcut silhouette sits right at the intersection of functional and put-together, so you never feel like you had to choose one over the other. What makes these genuinely useful across seasons is the built-in UPF 50 sun protection, which means your legs are covered on exposed approaches or open hillside trails without any extra effort on your part. The DWR treatment handles light moisture so a surprise drizzle or a dewy meadow crossing does not derail your day, and the elastic waistband keeps things comfortable from the first step to the last.
