You can explore the universe in stunning detail with the CPC Deluxe 800 HD 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain Computerized Telescope. This high-end astronomical instrument, the most portable in Celestron's top-tier range, is equipped with a newly designed fork mount and the innovative EdgeHD optical system. Whether you're an avid stargazer or a dedicated astro-imager, this telescope is designed to meet your needs. With an impressive 8-inch aperture and Celestron's premium StarBright XLT coatings, the CPC Deluxe 800 HD offers over 800 times the light gathering power of the naked eye. This allows you to observe intricate details on the surface of Jupiter, Saturn's Cassini Division, and even the distant Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.Despite its large aperture, this telescope remains conveniently portable. Weighing only 43 lbs and featuring strategically placed carrying handles, it's easy to set up in your backyard or transport to your favorite dark sky location. The EdgeHD optical system is designed to deliver high-definition, wide-field, astrograph-quality images. As a visual instrument, it provides pinpoint images even with your widest field eyepiece. For astro-imaging, the EdgeHD optics produce aberration-free images across your preferred CCD or DSLR camera. The CPC Deluxe HD Series comes with an internal GPS receiver that automatically downloads the date, time, and exact location from orbiting satellites, eliminating the need for manual input. Once the GPS has established the telescope's position, Celestron's revolutionary SkyAlign technology makes aligning the telescope as easy as pointing it to three bright celestial objects. The telescope's remote hand control provides direct access to a user-friendly database containing over 40,000 celestial objects, including the Messier and Caldwell Catalogs, as well as NGC Galaxies, nebulae, and planets. User-definable filter limits make navigating this expansive database quicker and easier. All EdgeHD optical tubes are equipped with a removable secondary mirror for fast f/2 CCD imaging, offering Fastar Versatility. This feature allows for exposure times that are 25 times faster, making your astro-imaging experience more efficient. In summary, the CPC Deluxe 800 HD 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain Computerized Telescope is a versatile, high-quality instrument designed for both visual observation and astro-imaging, making it a perfect choice for astronomy enthusiasts of all levels..
