What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Cold Days 2nd Long-Sleeve Baselayer made a real difference on a brutal February ride that barely cracked twenty degrees all morning. The Polartec Alpha fabric added serious warmth between my base layer and jacket without any of the bulk or clamminess I have dealt with from other mid-layers, and the half zip gave me just enough ventilation control on the climbs."The Cold Days 2nd Long-Sleeve Baselayer from Castelli brings Polartec Alpha insulation and full sleeve coverage to the coldest end of the riding calendar. Designed to sit between a base layer and an outer jacket, it adds maximum warmth at 153 grams without disrupting the fit of the layers around it. The half zip gives you ventilation control on harder efforts, so the insulation works with you rather than against you on the climbs.
