Cajal is a glass jewelry studio founded by Argentine-born designer and jewelry maker Julieta Cajal Nazar and based in Barcelona, Spain. Every piece is designed and created in the brand's in-house studio using the art of flameworking, without molds, so each design is individually handcrafted and truly one of a kind. Working primarily in borosilicate glass, prized for its hardness and resistance, Cajal turns emotion into wearable art that pairs the uniqueness of an artwork with the ease and elegance of everyday adornment.
WHAT IT IS
:
A long, layered-look necklace combining hand-blown borosilicate glass beads with natural stones in a warm palette of red, brown and yellow. The varied bead shapes and sizes are created by hand in Barcelona, Spain, without molds, so each necklace is distinct. At approximately 37 inches long and remarkably lightweight, it can be worn long or doubled for adaptable styling.
