Designed with Brooks' nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3, this trainer absorbs the impacts from road running while staying fairly lightweight. The Ghost Max 3 midsole utilizes rocker-shaped geometry mixed with a low offset to actively assist those heel-to-toe transitions, creating an effortless-feeling stride.
The Ghost Max 3 continues using a slightly broader base and raised sidewalls to help add some inherent stability to your step. This larger base size helps prevent the medial and lateral sides from collapsing, while the raised sidewalls secure the foot while giving the shoe more structure. Brooks also made sure the volume of this shoe had ample space to fit those with larger-than-average feet, making this a great option for those using their own orthotics.
