What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Momentum is the harness I point people to when they want something that fits well, adjusts easily, and doesn't make them think about the harness while they're climbing — which is exactly what you want. The Dual Core Construction waistbelt is genuinely comfortable on long days, and the Speed Adjust buckle is a small thing that adds up over a session. One note: a few climbers with larger legs have found the leg loop range limiting, so if you're between sizes, try it on before committing."Who It's ForBeginner to intermediate sport and trad climbers prioritizing comfort and adjustabilityThe Momentum is a strong fit for climbers moving past rental gear and into their first harness, as well as intermediate climbers who want a comfortable, no-fuss setup for gym sessions and single-pitch days outside. The four gear loops give it enough real estate for light trad racks, and the adjustable leg loops accommodate layering changes through a day. Climbers doing big walls or complex multi-pitch systems may want a more specialized fit. What It's ForSport climbing, gym climbing, and moderate trad routesThis is a versatile all-rounder built for the routes most climbers actually get on — single-pitch sport, gym lead climbing, and moderate trad where you need gear loops but don't need a fully specialized harness. The padded waistbelt holds up through sustained hangs, and the adjustable leg loops make it practical across a range of conditions and layering setups. Why We Like ItComfortable construction, fast adjustability, and enough gear organization for real climbing daysThe Dual Core Construction waistbelt — two high-tensile webbing bands with a venting foam insert between them — distributes load well and breathes better than a solid foam belt, which matters on warm gym days and long single-pitch sessions. The Speed Adjust waist buckle lets you loosen up between climbs without fully rethreading, a feature you notice most when you're belaying in a down jacket and then stripping layers to send. Four gear loops handle a standard sport rack or a light trad selection without crowding, and the haul loop keeps a chalk bag or tag line off your gear loops where it belongs.
