What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I keep a full rack of these because they clip cleanly every single time. The keylock noses never snag, the Straitjacket keeps the bent-gate biner right where you want it, and the dogbone feels sturdy without being bulky. Whether I’m projecting or linking pitches, the Hotforge Quickpack is dependable, smooth, and a killer value." We reach for the Black Diamond Hotforge Quickpack when we want a reliable, smooth-clipping set of quickdraws that thrive on everything from gym mileage to steep sport climbing. The HotForge carabiners—straight gate up top, bent gate on the rope side—deliver a crisp, confident clip, while the dual keylock design eliminates the snags that slow us down during cleaning or traversing. Each Hotforge Draw connects with an 18mm polyester dogbone and an integrated Straitjacket that keeps the rope-side biner perfectly aligned for fast, accurate clipping. With hot-forged construction, durable materials, and a color-coded lower biner for quick visual targeting, this six-pack gives us a dependable, fuss-free setup for seasons of progression and projecting.
