What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Black Diamond Alpine Light Pant on a long day at the crag followed by a trail approach and the four-way stretch nylon performed equally well in both settings without showing any fatigue by the end of the day. The gusseted crotch and articulated knees give you a range of motion that you rarely find in a pant this light, and the integrated adjustable belt kept the fit dialed through a full day of movement without needing any adjustment."Long days at the crag and big days on trail demand the same thing from your pants: total freedom of movement, reliable durability, and a fit that stays put no matter how dynamic the terrain gets. The Black Diamond Alpine Light Pant delivers all three in a four-way stretch nylon construction that weighs just 8.8 ounces and moves as naturally as a second skin from the first pitch to the last mile of the approach.Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch eliminate restriction on high steps, stem moves, and steep trail sections where a flat-cut pant binds and limits you. The stretch knit waistband with an integrated adjustable belt keeps the fit comfortable and secure across a full day of varied movement, and adjustable drawcord cuffs let you cinch the ankle opening down on technical terrain or open it up at camp. A PFC-free DWR coating sheds trail moisture and unexpected weather at the surface, and four pockets including a zippered thigh keep your essentials accessible without digging through a pack. Built to Bluesign standards, the Alpine Light Pant is as responsible as it is capable.
