What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I have been relying on the Copper Spur HV UL2 MtnGLO Tent for years of backpacking trips, and it consistently punches above its weight class in terms of livability for a shelter this light. The MtnGLO lighting system sounds like a gimmick until you actually use it, and then you wonder how you ever set up camp or read a map at night without it."The day's miles are done, camp is set, and the soft glow from inside the Copper Spur HV UL2 MtnGLO Tent makes the whole site feel like somewhere worth being. Big Agnes built their most celebrated ultralight tent around the idea that two people carrying everything they need on their backs shouldn't have to sacrifice comfort, space, or a little bit of magic to do it.MtnGLO technology sews LED lights directly into the upper seams of the tent, powered by three AAA batteries, creating ambient light that handles everything from map checks to late-night card games without a headlamp in sight. The all-mesh canopy keeps the interior breathable and dramatically light, while fully sealed seams on the fly and floor seal out rain and ground moisture when conditions turn serious. DAC Featherlite NFL poles clip into place quickly and stay put through high winds when properly guyed out, and two doors with two nine-square-foot vestibules give each occupant their own entrance and gear storage zone without negotiating over space. At under three pounds on trail, the Copper Spur HV UL2 MtnGLO Tent is the rare shelter that earns its place in your pack on comfort and weight in equal measure.
