Described by the brand as exhibiting a “fougère woody oriental accord,” this scent starts with a single cardamom top note. This spice, which lends resinous, green, and earthy tones, comes from the dried seeds and bark of a flowering plant native to India. The heart features caramel — a dark, burnt, warm and sugary note with milky undertones. Woody amber is the only base note - a bourbon vanilla and vetiver accord with a sensual and lasting dry-down.The Azzaro brand is best known for its men’s fragrances, but it offers more than 90 men’s, women’s and unisex scents. It began as a fashion house in the 1960s founded by Sicilian designer Loris Azzaro. With an eye for glamour and luxury, it featured modern couture before adding fragrances to its lineup in 1975.
