What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"These shoes handle everything from slippery put-ins to sharp river rocks. The Cordura upper dries fast, and that G.15 rubber sole grips like nothing else on wet granite."Technical rivers demand footwear that bridges the gap between land and water, so we lace up the Astral Loyak Shoe when trails lead to put-ins and portages punctuate the flow. Stitched Cordura construction resists abrasion while G.15 rubber finds purchase on slippery surfaces, creating a shoe that excels whether we're scouting rapids or running them.
