A Retro Training Shoe For Everyday Wear
When you want a shoe comfortable enough to handle long-term use but stylish enough for everyday wear, the Gel-1130 is a fantastic choice. Inspired by a 2008 iteration of the Gel-1000 series, this old-school Asics shoe delivers a perfect blend of comfort, support, and late 2000s retro-inspired style.
Just by looking at the shoe, the immediate standout is the unique retro running shoe aesthetic. If you're looking for an everyday shoe that can easily carry over to walks around town or casual hangouts, you can't go wrong here. But the good news is that Asics doesn't sacrifice comfort for style.
Underneath the foot, the GEL technology cushioning provides soft landings and exceptional shock absorption. Asics TRUSSTIC technology works within the midsole to provide adaptive support for those who tend to overpronate and need more stability through their strides.
While the upper maintains a retro look, it's been redesigned for maximum comfort during everyday wear. The overlays add some additional structure, while the mesh underlay material keeps the shoe secure and breathable for all-around comfort.
