The term "midweight" does a lot of work here — and it's worth understanding what it means before you buy. This Abercrombie & Fitch boys' midweight puffer jacket in navy sits between a lightweight packable jacket and a heavy-duty winter coat. It's warm enough for most of the UK autumn and winter, but not so bulky that it restricts movement or feels excessive on milder days.
That balance is what makes it genuinely useful across a wide range of conditions. It works as a standalone outer layer on cool autumn days, as a mid-layer under a heavier coat in deep winter, and as the go-to jacket for the long stretch of unpredictable weather in between. The navy colourway is clean and versatile — it pairs with almost anything and holds its colour well over time.
Tagged as non-seasonal and New-In, this boys' designer puffer jacket is designed to earn its place in the wardrobe beyond a single season. Made in Vietnam, available in sizes 5–6 Years to 15–16 Years, and priced at £125, it's a considered buy for parents who want outerwear that performs across multiple occasions without needing to be replaced each year.
