Versace’s Greca pattern takes inspiration from the same place the Italian brand got its Medusa logo: the floor of an abandoned Ancient Greek ruin. Both Gianni and Donatella Versace grew up in Calabria in Southern Italy, which is filled with remnants of the Greco-Roman empire and all its motifs, and it’s there they were inspired by the Greek key – here seen represented on the waistband of these boxers.
