Nike Air Max 98

The Nike Air Max 98 “All-Star” sports a special Charlotte Hornets colorway as a nod to the host city of the 2019 NBA All-Star Game. While a contemporary makeup, the “All-Star” Nike Air Max 98 appears every bit as if it were originally released in the late-90s. A deep purple leather mudguard is contrasted by a turquoise pattern that wraps around the toe, mid-panel and heel. Contrasting the Hornets-themed upper is a white embroidered Swoosh that resides on the mid-panel. Further hammering home its basketball-adjacent motif, an orange pebbled basketball leather branding island appears on the toe. White embroidered “AIR” branding covers the heel of the Air Max 98. A white midsole features a toe-to-heel Max Air cushioning unit that is contrasted by a green outsole. The Nike Air Max 98 “All-Star” was released on April 18, 2019.
