The modern temperature measurement technology of Beurer basal thermometers work in conjunction with a cycle tracking app to offer entirely new possibilities for predicting fertile and non-fertile days more reliably.

1. Clean the thermometer before and after each use with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol diluted with water. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and let dry. NOTICE: Do not soak the product or sterilize by boiling or steaming it. 2. Press the On/Off Button; the thermometer will beep. The thermometer will carry out a self-test for about 2 seconds. During the self test all segments of the LCD Display will activate briefly. 3. The product will then briefly display the reference reading of 97.70 degrees F and then "Lo" with a flashing degrees "F", which indicates the thermometer is ready for use. 4. The last measurement is stored automatically on the device. To view the last stored measurement, press and hold the On/Off Button while the thermometer is off. After about two seconds, the previously recorded temperature measurement will display as long the On/Off Button is held. Release the On/Off Button to continue use. 5. Promptly begin temperature measuring. Check section below for different measuring areas. When the thermometer beeps four times, temperature measuring is complete. Note that it may take up to three minutes for the temperature to stabilize and record a reliable measurement, therefore a measuring time of 3 minutes is recommended. A measurement duration of at least 30 seconds should be maintained. 6. If the measured temperature is higher than 109.39 degrees F, the display will show Hi degrees "F". If the temperature is lower than 89.60 degrees F, the display will show "Lo degrees F". 7. Press the ON/OFF Button to turn off the thermometer.
