Fashion Icon - Twiggy's Eyelashes

The first time I heard Twiggy's name is not from a fashion magazine, but from the American next Top Model tv shows back in high school 😆. I was so inspired by her puppy-lazily eye makeups! The eyelashes!

This is how she did her iconic mod eye looks back in the 60s: 1. starting with a dark brown line in the crease of her lids. 2. another thin line of black eyeliner very close to her lashes. 3. use the double-thick lashes, and mascara over them with black mascara

To recreate her mod eye look while still looking daily and wearable~ I figured the mascara is a secret weapon followed by a clean, hydrated under-eye skin as a canvas. The mascara I used to love was the YSL baby doll, but they discontinued in 2019.

Luckily, I found another new favorite - Lancome Big Mascara which gives me a monsieur significant volumizing false lash effect. By the way, the Lancome Big mascara also comes in a waterproof formula.
