Petra Collins, artist and fashion world muse, just dropped her third collection for I’m Sorry by Petra Collins, an SSENSE exclusive collaboration. The Toronto-born, NYC-based artist has been at the forefront of a new wave of millennial directed feminism, capturing the awkward beauty of early womanhood through her dreamy, pastel-tinted photographs. A sartorial translation of her photographic vision, I'm Sorry by Petra Collins captures the interiority of girlhood with sincerity and wit. Short for Office Kiko, OK was launched in 2017 by Tokyo-based model and actress Kiko Mizuhara and her sister Yuka. The collaborative label works with a range of creators and brands, delivering comfy staples saturated with personality and positive imagery. Though it draws inspiration from both haute couture and street fashion, the label is dedicated to producing easy-to-wear, everyday looks. Colorful motifs are abundant in OK’s hoodies, T-shirts, cycling shorts, and tanks, all boasting a lively, playful aesthetic. Inspired by London’s underground rave scene, eponymous label Sinead Gorey offers nostalgia-infused fashion bursting with eye-catching patterns and cutouts. The South East London–based designer launched the brand in 2019 and quickly amassed a cult following among celebrities and ravers alike with attention-grabbing womenswear. Spanish womenswear label Gimaguas embodies exploration, mindfulness, and relaxation in its playful approach to beachwear. Twins and business partners Sayana and Claudia Duranay founded the vibrantly insouciant brand in 2016, working alongside global artisans to source materials from balmy locations like Mexico, Jaipur, and Madagascar. Such diverse creative input results in eclectic collections of form-fitting knitwear, flowing dresses, and patterned swimwear. Designed with wearability in mind, breathable and brightly patterned cotton textiles are transformed into elegant and comfortable daytime pieces, while mohair and alpaca yarns are knit into colorful cozy sweaters.
